I know because I co-created a 7-figure business that makes (and sells!) high-end interactive light walls. Since 2016 we’ve served hundreds of customers in public spaces like libraries, museums, and hospitals.
We sell without a sales team,
market without a marketing team,
and have never posted about our product on social media.
Before that I owned Copylicious, a company that helped B2B entrepreneurs sell hard-to-describe, hard-to-sell complex things.
Some results included:
• More than 1,000 new, paying customers within the first 3 months of launching a performance monitoring application
• 25k in new business for a design and fabrication studio
• 20k in new business for a technology consulting practice
And a sustainability consulting firm client won the Renewable Energy Marketer of the Year Award for 2 consecutive years; other projects I contributed to won a Silver Quill Excellence Award, an Hermes Creative Gold Award, and an Addy award.
I also found time to win a dance contest at a teacher’s convention.
